The Play Area Attendant’s ultimate goal of all employees is to deliver excellent customer service, creating a unique
experience for the guest which makes them want to return; you should be positive, loyal and a proud ambassador
of the Wonderdal Brand.


The Employee’s added responsibilities shall include, among other things, the following:
✓ Ensure that the supervision of children indoors and outdoors are always adequate
✓ Having knowledge of the program and effectively communicating activities in different areas
✓ Helping children discover new interests by introducing them to science and life skills
✓ Being energetic and motivated to engage with children and their parents
✓ Being able to motivate a child to participate in the offered activities
✓ Making sure that the program is suitable to the child’s developmental age and develop the social, intellectual, cultural and physical abilities of each child.
✓ To make sure children with special needs are adequately catered for and the program allows them maximum participation in all activities
✓ To work with the Manager on Quality Improvement and meeting all Child Care Regulations.
✓ Regularly check resources and maintenance needs and report these to the Manager
✓ In conjunction with the Manager ensure that the Centre is left clean, tidy and secure each day
✓ Any other duties as required by the Manager

  • Bring a positive attitude to work, co-operating closely with team members and other departments to ensure that Wonderdal is the best it can be; and
  • Set a great example to new employees
