- Carry out services and maintenance on Earthmoving Equipment on customer sites.
- Remove and install components on customer sites.
- Ensure safe work practice.
- Maintain professional image when representing BWE on customer site.
- Quickly and efficiently deal with all customer machine services and maintenance.
- Compile accurate customer service reports.
- Effective self-management and performance ownership.
- Control contamination, own admin (labour booking, service reports, part returns, expenses etc.)
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
- Qualified in relevant trade (e.g., Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) post apprentice/learn ship experience.
- Machine specific technical knowledge and skills
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic technical report writing, business and financial understanding
- Some Computer Literacy (SIS, STW & ET) knowledge
- Basic trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
- Applicable product knowledge
- Driver’s licence – Code B
