Position: Bookmaker Clerk X3

Summary of Position:
The primary objective in this role is to comply with all mandatory requirements, manage internal and external customers and deliver excellent customer service for the MWOS Group. Your role is to support, advise and direct the business in all aspects of customer service that could lead the business to high levels of customer retention
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Performance Area
Performance Outputs
Financial + Strategic
- Responsible for cash balancing in your drawer
- Laying and pay-out of bets
- Responsible for cash shortages in alignment with the Shortage/Overage Policy
- Ensure that your bet taken count is in alignment with branch projections
Operational
- Responsible for the administration and paperwork including cash handover documents
- Responsible for safety and security of all assets under your control
- Responsible for the administration and paperwork for transfers to the Assistant Manager or Branch Manager
Customer + Relationship
- Providing excellent, good quality customer service at all times
- Ensuring that your workplace is clean and presentable for MWOS customers
- Ensure customers are aware of all bet types in order to increase customer satisfaction
- Ensure communication skills are good in order to provide information to customers clearly and concisely
Leadership + People
- Ensuring that breaches in policy is reported to the Assistant/Branch/Regional/HR Manager
Innovation
- Make recommendations and suggestions of advertising/marketing opportunities to the Marketing Department
- Make recommendations on how to increase performance and branch profit

Minimum Requirements:
- Matric
- 1 year experience in a similar role
- Must be able to work shifts including nights.
